3 ways to outrank Amazon in the Search Engines
It's a common problem, you have a product for sale, it's listed on Amazon, but the listing on Amazon appears first in the search results. Where's your own site? No where to be found. Matt Cutts at Google shares some insight as to whether or not Amazon always gets the best placement and what you can do about it.

January -Stock up on raincoats, boots and umbrellas for the coming few months.. People are now starting to get tired of the cold weather and are anxiously waiting for Spring season.  Start listing Spring clothing, accessories and shoes -especially color. Valentine's Day and St. Patricks is coming up so start vamping up your inventory for these months.. little bit of green and red but don't go overboard!

February -Not a good selling month unless you have high end jewelry, lingerie and tons of Victoria's Secret!  Very important to start stocking up on "Spring Break" bathing suits, sandals etc.

March - Stores are now putting spring items on sale so you may want to put some of your items on sale to bring traffic to your store.  Easter is next month so maybe start putting out Easter outfits for the young children.. (Childrens' clothing is a very high seller on eBay)

April - Big month for sales. Prom, homecoming and tons of weddings are coming up.  Check the completed listings for dresses you want to sell and go $2.00-$10.00 under there listed price.  People are also starting to take vacations so stock up on vaca clothing such as sundresses, shorts and items such as luggage etc. ALSO a great month to add some Mothers' Day gift sets for mom. Perfume sets, gift certificates to spas, Victoria's Secret etc

May -Continue selling prom, homecoming but increase Wedding a bit.  This month is great to start selling shorts, summer dresses, summer items, etc.. Add more Vacation such as swimwear etc.  Fathers' Day is next month so add some Fathers' Day gifts such as Golf clubs, shirts, ties(yes the dreaded tie), suits, shoes, cologne sets etc

June - Summer is here.. add more summer stuff especially swimwear for all genre.   School is out so try not to add too much kids clothing.

July - Now add "back to school" kids clothing, junior clothing, shoes, backpacks, notebooks, binders, light sweaters and hoodies.. Remember that many people go to discount stores to stretch their money so try to stay at or below their prices!

August - ok.. back to school month. Parents and students are scrambling to find the "deals" so maybe list your prices at "buy it now" or best offer.  Add Fall light clothing -keeping in mind the shades of the season shift.

September -Halloween outfits will be a big seller this month and next. keep your pricing at least $2.00 less than others.

October -This month is also great for the Halloween season especially for the last minute buyers. Keep your shipping as Priority to let customers know they can buy it at least 5 days before their event.   Christmas shoppers start avid buying this month to my understanding.  Clothing, toys, Electronics,Victoria's Secret, MAC cosmetics, gift sets etc are big sellers among others.  Start bringing in the winter season items.

November -Winter sales month!  Bring out the boots, coats, hats, gloves, scarfs etc.  boo hoo for online sellers if you don't pay attention to other sellers' pricings!   People are looking to stretch their money so the lower you go the more you sell!  Special personalized gifts and Christmas decorations such as wreaths, ornaments sell great.

December -Last month to bring in the deals for Xmas. Bring out the sweaters, heavy coats, TONS of vintage if you have knowledge of authentic vintage dating. (vintage has to be more than 20 years old to be considered Vintage)  Also keep in mind of the New Year coming in.   Start bringing in limited edition items, calenders etc.

always sell what people want and need.

In winter people do not want swimsuits and shorts and sandals.

They want heavy coats with tall collars that can snap shut, furry hats that fold down to keep their ears warm and gloves to keep their hands and fingers warm.

They do not want sun tan lotion.

They want chemical hand warmers. They want thicker socks and warmer shoes and insulated boots. They want ski pants that the icy wind won't cut through. They want insulated bib overalls.

Air conditioners and box fans don't sell so well during winter, but electric space heaters do, as well as kerosene heaters, propane heaters, propane tanks, and propane hoses.

People will want snow shovels. They will want ice scrapers.

They will want to buy bags of rock salt and chemical melting compounds to spread on their sidewalks and steps.

People will also want snow tires. Used snow tires are great sellers, especially during the first few months of winter, but they don't move so well during the summer months. Most people do not think, or shop, ahead.

Used tire chains in good condition will also sell well, as will tow chains.

Cold remedies, cough syrups and cough drops always sell, but especially in winter.

Buyers will also be looking for snowboards, inner tubes and other things to have fun with on the slopes.

Many flea markets run their own concessions and will not allow anyone to compete with them. But many smaller markets don't have any concessions at all, and you can do quite well selling coffee and hot chocolate.

14 Cool Tights That'll De-Basic Any Dress
There's two kinds of tights-wearers in this world: those who always opt for plain old, opaque black, and those who'd rather be styled by Miley than wear something so plebeian. Full disclosure: Most of us here at Yahoo Style are in the former camp - but that doesn't mean we're leaving the rest of you hanging.
